Larnaca with Cyprus’ main international airport is fast becoming a top tourist destination; the beaches are many and most soft sand. The marina area of Larnaca has numerous bars and restaurants stretched out along the seafront; don’t miss the marina on a Friday or Saturday night the friendly atmosphere is for all the family.

To the west of Larnaca is the popular Oroklini, with its own soft sand beach and numerous bars and restaurants. Pervolia to the east also a popular holiday destination has a Delightful Village Centre with Traditional Cypriot Tavernas serving excellent cuisine. Beaches are natural around the cape and it would not be unusual to find a deserted cove where you can sunbathe in peace. Most Properties for Rent in this area are walking distance from the beach.

Larnaca town centre has numerous shops and cafes in the winding streets, Nicosia the capital, is just 30 minutes drive away for a more complete shopping centre. You can drive across to the North of the country via Nicosia, Kyrenia (Gerne) is about a 1 hour 20 minute drive from Larnaca. The picturesque harbour a must when traveling north; you will need your passport and separate car insurance (check with your car hire company).
Larnaca is central in Cyprus giving easy access to many attractions on the island, Agia Napa just 30 minutes drive and Limassol 50 minutes.

In our opinion it is an excellent holiday choice away from the crowd.
