Everyone has numerous questions when purchasing a property abroad for the first time. Listed below are the ones we are asked most often, however if you have a question that is not on our list please do not hesitate to contact us.

Who is K.S.L?
K.S.L is a Cyprus based company, with our offices located in Larnaca. We are a professional Property Care and Management Company that provides quality privately owned apartments and villas for rent to those people who like a holiday with a difference. Our website allows you to browse the properties we have available and choose one that suits your requirements as well as your budget.
How do I make a Booking?
You can check an apartment or villas availability using one of the following; fill in our on-line enquiry form, fax through you enquiry or telephone our offices. Once we have received your enquiry we will respond within 24 hours and confirm availability. You can contact us by e-mail or telephone to confirm details of your booking, remembering to include the following information, Full Names, Date of Birth, Contact Address, Telephone Number for the person confirming the booking. A deposit of 25% is required and confirmation of your booking will be sent to you by e-mail and by post, once deposit funds have been cleared.
How are deposits and balances paid?
A deposit of 25% is payable at the time of booking, the balance is payable 6 weeks prior to travel. Payments must be made in full for bookings less than 6 weeks before departure. Deposits can be made using most major credit cards or switch, payment by cheque is not accepted by K.S.L. K.S.L charge a 10% booking fee for all apartments and villas.
What should I do in the event of an emergency?
If an emergency should arise prior to or after your arrival, please contact our offices 00357 24815104, where a K.S.L representative will be on hand to assist.
Are all prices quoted in Sterling or Euro's?
All prices on our website are per property per week and are quoted in sterling, except where stated.
The prices quote are they per person or per property?
All prices quoted are per property based on a 7 night stay, extra days may be booked at the price shown.
What day is normal for changeover?
Most property owners are flexible in regard to changeover days, but during high season periods, a premium maybe payable for stays less than 7 nights.
What is your cancellation policy?
A deposit of 25% is payable at time of booking and all reservations are not deemed as confirmed until your deposit has been received as cleared funds and we have issued our confirmation of booking. The balance of payment is required 6 weeks before departure; in the event of you canceling your booking, you will forfeit the 25% booking canceling after the 6 week due date will also result in you losing the payment.
Travel Insurance do I really need it?
We strongly recommend that you take out the appropriate holiday/travel insurance at the time of booking your holiday. We also advise that you ensure your policy is comprehensive and includes accommodation cancellation.
Do I need a Visa?
EU passport holders do not require a visa, although a full passport which is valid for a least three years from the date of your return is required. Non EU passport holders are advised to contact the Cyprus High Commission in regard to visa requirements.
What Medical Advise can you give?
UK residents are not required to have any inoculations or vaccinations prior to traveling to Cyprus, but if have a known medical condition, please seek advise from your GP before making your travel arrangements. Items such as regular medication and contact lenses should be packed in your hand luggage and you should ensure you have sufficient supplies to cover the holiday.
Are there any currency restrictions?
You are allowed by the Cypriot Authorities to bring in or take out of the country up to 860 Euros in local currency without declaring this. Travellers Cheques (sterling) can be cashed at all banks, bureau du change and hotels. You can withdraw money from cash machines and credit cards are widely accepted.
Are Safety Standards and Regulations as in the UK?
The regulations and safety standards operating in Cyprus may not reach the same level as those you enjoy in the UK, therefore please take all precautions to protect yourself and your family whilst on holiday. Most properties listed on our website are privately owned, clients should be aware that a privately owned property may not have in place the same level of safety features as you would expect in a hotel e.g. smoke alarm. Please ensure small children are not left unattended on balconies, in or around swimming pools, and that care is taken on marble floors and areas around the pool when feet are wet.
Are Properties Equipped with Satellite TV?
As all properties are privately owned, this information will be listed in the relevant details. Please check availability on booking.
Do I need a Car?
In order to enjoy the full Cyprus experience we would recommend you hire a car. Although most properties will have some local shops and restaurants in the vicinity, the public transport system is limited and should therefore not be relied on.
Will the property have Telephone or Internet Access?
This is unlikely in most properties, and we would advise that you speak to your UK mobile phone provider about using your phone in Cyprus. Internet access is available in most major towns via internet cafes. Telecards are available from the local Cytanet Office, supermarkets and local shops.
What is the Electricity Voltage?
Most properties will have standard 3-pin plugs as in the UK and the voltage is 240v.
Do I need to bring linen and towels?
This is usually provided by the property owner, with the exception of beach towels. Fresh linen and towels are usually provided mid stay for booking of ten or more days.
How frequently is the property cleaned?
All properties are cleaned prior to your arrival. A maid service is available on request for a minimal fee.
Should I be wary on Insects or Pest?
As in common with most hot Mediterranean countries, Cyprus is no exception when it come to insects or pests - ants, field mice, rats, lizards, spiders and wasps are not uncommon. Mosquito's can be prevalent on the island and annoying, so the use of a plug-in repellent and suitable lotions are advisable, you can bring them with you or purchase from local supermarkets or pharmacies on arrival.
What are the Check In and Check Out times?
Properties are available from 3pm on the day of arrival and need to be vacated by 10am to allow sufficient time for cleaning. However these times may be subject to change if agreed in writing by ourselves and the property owner.
